You cannot get Microsoft word 2007 for free, it sounds like you had a free trial and it expired. Here is a link to a free Office Suite called Open Office, it can open and save as Microsoft documents. openoffice.org/ |

If you need something thats MS Word compatible, you can always try OpenOffice. Its free. |

Um, no, that would be illegal. If you don't want to spend money, you might try OpenOffice (a Sun product). It is an open source version of what Word and Excel and Powerpoint offer. |

Try OpenOffice. You have to specify when saving text documents as .doc (standard formatting is .odf or something?), but I haven't had any major problems. Microsoft Word isn't a free program. You're unlikely to find a free download online that isn't a trial and is legal. |

You do not want to use open office if you are doing homework assignments that are e-mailed or given to the teacher electronically. If they do not have open office then they will not be able to view your assignment and you won't get a grade. Just buy the Microsoft office, it is worth it! If you get it free you could get in a lot of trouble. |
