How large is windows vista home premium to windows 7 home premium upgrade?
I want to upgrade from vista to windows 7.But I wanted to download the upgrade instead of using the upgrade cd instead of having to pay shipping.I Have a 256kbps dsl connection.Im currently using windows vista home premium X64.If anyone used this method could you plz tell me how large was the file and what was your connection speed? How can I repair windows vista?
in windows XP you could repair your windows by it's CD, I mean you could recopy all files without reinstalling and formatting the disk, but in Vista DVD doesn't exist this properties. is there? how can I repair it? I don't want to format the OS drive nor have fresh version.thanks in advance

Now before you all go oh yes we know what u want to loose lol this is not the case. Iam finding that some sites are able to bypass the delete history function and remain in the drop down view of the top bar..these are sites such as gumtree and even some yahoo pages...in previous versions of internet explorer all pages were dleted but am ata loss as to utterly clean the history any ideas guys and girls?nope the right click does not work and as i said DUHH tools opetions delete history does not work lol

Windows Vista Home Complete restore.?
I would like to totally restore my pc back to when I first turned it on. I understand that there is a restore tool that comes with vista and i'm afraid to do much with it yet because my system is not backed up. If I purchased an external hard drive and backed my entire hard drive on it and then restored my pc, would I be able to do such a thing? My pc has been running slow and has about 4 5 of my memory used up. I would like to make it back to when it was like none . Any help would be great. ThanksI do regurlary clean my pc with ccleaner. How can I manage startup programs in Windows Vista if Windows Defender wont open?
When I go to startup programs, a window tells me Windows Defender is turned off, so I click on the link to turn it on, then I get an error code 0x800106ba. I know it has something to do with the fact that my antivirus program wont let Windows Defender run. I haven't been able to turn on Windows Defender for a few months now through the start menu, but I always could when I needed to go to startup programs until like yesterday. I've tried running it as administrator, and also tried opening it through the file location, but I still get the same error code. So how can I manage startup programs?

Windows Vista networked with Windows 7?
I am tiring to share a secondary hard drive from a windows vista home premium machine with a windows 7 Home Premium. It is telling me that I do not have the right permissions to access the harddrive from the windows 7 computer.... Someone help, I have never had this many problems networking two comps.Solved TY I had to add " EVERYONE" into the permissions list... but it works.

i attemp to Watch youtube videos and the video just doesnt show up, and same for google images, notghing comes upm and i cant' play myspace music, I have the same internet explorer the computer came with, i dont know whats wrong.
