Virus Protection Information

Question: If i put windows on a macbook will it still have the virus protection and the speed that come with osx?

Im just looking at getting a new Macbook but i really like windows but i still want the perks that come with a Macbook. Thanks!

If you put windows (i think) it will make it able to get the windows viruses but windows in contained in a folder so i dont know it it will spread to the whole computer. btw macbook is nice but some programs dont work on mac cause they are written in windows coding

Virus's infect the operating system not the lap top/ Mac it's self so with Windows installed you would need to also install a excellent Internet Security like Norton Internet Security2010 to protect it.
