Question: Is 100 subdomains spam?

Hi I was thinking about making 100 subdomains for my main domain which I have made 1000 articles for and want to upload them using wordpress (it has taken me 6 months to write the articles SEOed!) now i want to categorize them using subdomains puting 10 articles per subdomain and have my post automation software update posts for me. will google consider this spam? I want to produce quality content and have, and I want to share it with the community but its all messy if i dont divide it up.

Have a categorized site is doing more help fo SEO have a look at this search in google Folders vs. Subdomains or subdomain vs subcategory

Why not have 10 sub domains with 10 categories in each subdomain
