Question: Skype doesn't close(not quit) right on windows 7?

I just installed windows 7 on my computer(ultimate 32 bit but was on starter at first) and installed skype on it but when i click the X button on skype or close it skype doesn't go to the notification area it just minimizes to the task bar and stay there until i quit skype

I had the same issue, so I contacted Skype tech support, and they suggested running it in compatibility mode for Windows Vista. To do so quit Skype (if you right click the taskbar icon there is an option to Quit Skype), then right click on the program icon, and select properties, then on the compatibility tab select Windows Vista.
