I have a domain controller which I no longer use the exchange feature on. I have changed to IMAP on an external server. I just need some advice of how to remove Exchange as soon I will be decommisioning the server and promoting to a new server without Exchange. I have looked in add and remove programs but exchange isn't there. Exhcnage is DEFINETLY installed on the server however!! Thanks for the help

If its not in add remove programs then the simplist way is to disable all the services thru device manager. Its not clean but it will free up resources and hey you will still have the mailstore for that one idiot who MUST "Recover a sent item from three years ago or as his life depends on it!!! ;-) And do you really want to re-install it to un-install it?? Promote another DC and wipe the old using DC promo.

Go to sun.com. Download the Solaris Operating System and install it!
