Exporting MS Exchange mailbox to a single PST for Outlook?
Hi, I'm not entirely techie, so here's my problem. We are moving away from MS Exchange 2000 and each person is going to use a persona PST file on his her computer instead. Currently, we have several users with Exchange mailboxes in our server. Rather than have each person export to a PST file, is there a utility or an easy way to do this directly from the server and without having to login as the individual user?Our servers is a Windows 2000 server. Thanks.We only have desktops. The only reason why we were using Exchange Server was for the shared calendar feature, but it was creating all kind of problems.
How to completely remove MS Exchange from Windows Server 2000?
I have a domain controller which I no longer use the exchange feature on. I have changed to IMAP on an external server. I just need some advice of how to remove Exchange as soon I will be decommisioning the server and promoting to a new server without Exchange. I have looked in add and remove programs but exchange isn't there. Exhcnage is DEFINETLY installed on the server however Thanks for the help
IMAP e-mail or MS Exchange server to sync MAC & Windows?
I'm confused about the best way to sync e mails on all of my devices. I have a small business, and I want to sync e mail replies, etc. between my office computer imac , my laptop macbook , and my PDA windows mobile . I need to keep my existing e mail address e.g. me mydomain.com What is the best way to accomplish this? My current host doesn't offer IMAP e mail, is the simplest solution to switch to a host that supports IMAP or do I need to upgrade to Snow Leopard and sign up for an exchange server? Thanks
Will MS Exchange 2007 run on a 32 Bit processor if I install 64 Bit OS?
This whole 64 Bit thing has me confused. I messed up. I didn't know that Microsoft only offers Exchange 2007 in 64 Bit version. My client recently purchased a Dell server with the Dual Core Xeon 3040 processor. I installed Windows Server 2k3 Standard Edition 32 Bit. Is it possible that I just install the 64 Bit version of Win 2k3? How can I resolve this problem or do I need a different server to run Exchange 2007. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Will a 64 Bit OS run on a 32 Bit processor? The Xeon 3040 is a 32 Bit processor right?I just need to know what it will take to get the Exchange Server running. Thanks.
Can i install Windows server 2008 OS and MS exchange server in one Server Machine (i.e Tower Server)?
Hi everyone, my issue is i want to install Windows Server 2008 and MS Exchange Server in one Server Machine i.e Tower Server , is it possible to do that b'coz its a cost effective process to set up different machines each for Windows Server 2008 and MS Exchange server. I would be thankful if your information posted on this site is of any help to me.If yes then how effective will it be to maintain both windows server 2008 and MS exchange server in one server machine.

Previously I had DC on Server 2003 & Exchange server 2003I installed another Windows Server 2003 with Exchange 2003then from the System manager I moved the mailboxes from the old server to the new oneafter restarting both servers the new exchange server " containing the mailboxes" didn't startwhat should I do to make the exchange server run properly or how can I restore the mailboxes to the old server
Ms Exchange mails downloaded to other's account's inbox?
Hi,I am using Ms Outlook 2003 on WindowsXP SP2, and trying to configure with Ms Exchange Server 2003.I have one my company's pop3 account configured to outloook. Mails from this account goes to default " Personal Folders' inbox" .After this I tried to configure my other account which is hosted on Ms Exchange Server 2003. When I configured this account as second account in my outook 2k3, It created one more folder called " Mailbox Ashish Kumar" .Now the problem is... Mails from exchange server are downloading into Personal Folders' Inbox and mails are getting deleted from server. While from the same account all other mails are going to appropiate folders. e.g. Mails from Sent folder of Exchange Server is going into " Mailbox Ashish Kumar" send folder, and also maintaing a copy on server.Now my question is1 . how to restore my inbox's mails to back into Exchange Server's Inbox2 . I want POP mails into Personal Folder's inbox while Exchange mails into Mailbox AshishKumar's inboxThe problem is, I am not able to choose two different delivery folder for two different account. Means, if I am changing delivery folder, it is changing for both the accounts
