Hi! I had an experience with some viruses that will hide all folders and files in the removable drive and sometimes make child files, with names of your folders, and icons of a folder , but they are exe files... Dont panic, you files are safe, but are super hidden... Probably your laptop and the memory card is infected too. Run a scan with malwarebytes to remove the infections. Warning: Dont double click any drive to open it, it would trigger autorun of drive and perhaps start the virus again. Use address bar to open the drive. Go to folder options, view .... Tick show hidden files and folders, untick Hide extensions of known file types and also untick Hide protected operating system files . This will enable you to see the drive contents. Delete all the folders with .exe extensions, and .cmd, .bat , .com files etc . Also delete a autorun.inf file if present. Delete autorun.inf file from all other system drives too. If in case your folder options are disabled or you aren't able to access files still, your registry is bugged ... Restore settings using this tool.... rathat.geekstogo.com/ Applications/ RatsCheddar.zip Read this post for more.... pcgyaan.wordpress.com/ 2009/ 11/ 16/ tips-for-a-healthy-pc/ In case you still cant figure things out, contact me. |

No matter what you have in your mem, you will have to format it. I had the same experience when i was using the n73 ME. My virus guard detected some virus in my mem and i cleared it. But the next time i plug it in, it showed up again... Until i format the mem. I'm afraid my friend, but you SHOULD format it. |
