How to do load balancing?
I need to do load balancing but from 2 locations I have servers colocated in Asia and another set colocated in US . Visitors from nearer to Asia will be served from my Asian location and visitors nearer to US will be served from the US location . Also, if either of my locations are fully loaded, the other location will take over. I will need some point to point connections to both locations and some data replication for sure as my application is dynamic, but what else do I need? Please advise

I have a building with three floors. Each floor has a 3560 switch that connects to a 4500 switch in the basement. There is also a second link from the 3560s to the 4500 switch in case one link goes down. So I was wondering if I can use both links and then if one link fails, then all the traffic can be routed using the other link.

i have a table with 10,000,000,000 records and i need Select and Insert many records from or into this table in less than one second.i can't buy a very expensive hardware Server for my SQL Server 2005 but i can buy many medium price hardwares Servers for my SQL Server 2005.how can i distribute or cluster this table trouhg many hardwares Servers ?i have few users about 10 for my database but i have a very large table and Sql server 2005 server need to respond to this users in less than 1 second.i want to distribute this huge table in seperated hardwares. becuase i can't buy a very expensive hardware from my server but i can buy many medium price hardware for my server.how can i do this?if sql server can't support this feature which RDBMS can support this feature and how?i need a method like partitioned tables in SQL 2005 but Tablepartitioning only allows me to spread the load across disks. However,all data will still be managed by a single server. my performancebottleneck is not only Disks resources but also CPU or memory, thismethod can resolve my Disk Performance bottleneck but it can't resolvemy CPU or memory Performance bottleneck.please help me to find a solution for all resource include CPU,Ram,Disk,... .

I have an ASP.NET 2.0 application that is supposed to have lots of users probably connected at a specific period of time simultaneously. I would like to know how I can apply load balancing to the network that will serve my application to share the traffic between the several servers that will serve my application. I have found some articles about clustering but I have no idea about it. What kind of softwares or hardwares are required?

Okay I know this is when you use either software or hardware to speed of serving web pages. My only question about it is see I have 2 computers one with internet and it has a web server on it, but say I wanted to use my other computer with load balancing what do I do? See i just want software load balancing BUT HERE IS THE THING how is the CHEAPEST way to get internet on a bunch of computers so that my upload speed can be higher for people?

Linksys RV016 FAILOVER NOT LOAD BALANCE?
OK. I have a RV016 at a remote site. Currently WAN1 is all that is in use. I have a VLAN back to the main site. This is via a Wimax connection and it works well. There is an unused T1 at this location and I want it to be a failover. I dont really care if people at the main site can access the remote site when the main connection is down. What is imperative is that the remote site can access the Internet and network resources at the main site. My proposed solution is a site to site VPN with a Sonicwall from the T1 to the main site. This is connected and works but if I connect this to the Rv016 it is hell bent on load balancing which I do not want. It is causing packet loss as well. What I want it the RV016 to ignore WAN2 unless WAN1 dies. I also want it to go back to WAN1 when WAN1 comes back to life without me having to tell it to. I want to accomplish this with no action on the part of the user or myself. Can the RV016 do straight FO no LB. How do I config it like this?
