Laser Printer Information

Question: Which is more cost effective for mass reproduction, using the copy machine or print using a laser printer?

I do a lot of printing/ copying. Sometimes I'll print 75 pages using an hp Laser Jet or I'll print 1 copy off the laser printer and then make 75 copies using the Xerox machine. Both are high frequency machines. My question is which method is more cost effective, printing mass quantities off the laser jet or photocopy machine. Thanks in advance for the input!

Cheaper using laser copier. Comes to about 2.5 cents per copy.

It is probably more cost effective to just use the printer, since there isn't any scanning required, and therefore you save on electricity.
