What is the minimum cost of a coloured laser printer?
I wanna buy a coloured laser printer in india. What is the minimum amount of money i have to spend on it?
Anyone any ideas on a laser printer?
I do a lot of printing for my local football club, posters, tickets, fliers, letters, forms etc etc etc. All in all it probably amounts to about 800 pages per month on average, during the season its higher than off season . I've decided to get a laser printer as my current inkjet a new HP FS540 is not efficient enough at all....using WAYYY too much ink with replacement cartridges costing a bomb.So I've looked around and I've found a few laser printers for around 150, the HP LaserJet CP1515, the Samsung CLP 315 and the Canon Laser Shot LBP 5000 are just a few of the ones that have caught my eye. As for DPI they are all pretty respectable for what I want need and things such as noise and speed aren't a real concern.The biggest issue which I need help with is the maintenance of the machines. I don't really understand the whole replacement drum toner stuff. Is the drum and toner all one unit?? Do you need to be a computer engineer to maintain a laser printer?To sum up...I've done a bita research and think I've got the jist of the whole laser printing scene but a little help in 'layman' terms would be great...even a suggested machine would be great...budget limited as the football club will be paying for it and we ain't exactly rolling in it....especially in the after sale costs as that's the reason for not using the inkjet. The laser printer is only 34 with full ink cartridge and toner but is refurbished but looks like new. I could get a new inkjet for a similar price but the laser would be cheaper and quicker.

Copies out of a Dell laser printer, 3115cn, have a gray hue on whole sheet. What can I do to fix that.?
I'm not a techie type, so lots of details would be great. It's a 2.5 yr. old machine and has worked great until now. The text and graphics appear as I expect them to related to color, etc. It's just this gray haze that covers the entire sheet that has me stumped. Thanks
My laser printer (Brother MFC-8500) makes a screeching sound when it prints. See details for more info. Causes?
I know it is NOT the fan. Also, the screeching doesn't start when the paper is auto fed into the print area, either from the top feeder or the tray feeder. The screeching seems to begin when the actual printing begins. Could this be emanating from the DRUM cartridge or from the TONER cartridge? It sounds like its coming from that area. Any insights are welcome. Thanks.
Which is more cost effective for mass reproduction, using the copy machine or print using a laser printer?
I do a lot of printing copying. Sometimes I'll print 75 pages using an hp Laser Jet or I'll print 1 copy off the laser printer and then make 75 copies using the Xerox machine. Both are high frequency machines. My question is which method is more cost effective, printing mass quantities off the laser jet or photocopy machine. Thanks in advance for the input
Brother HL-2140 laser printer problem.?
I'm printing and when it's finished, I see that on the edge of the paper, The long side, there are 7 8... smudges on it. It's almost like dots. I just got it too. Is it the toner that I'm experiencing the problem with? Or is it the printer? Solid printer but the dots.... Not pretty. The dots are where there should be white. The size of the dots or as big as the holes that the spiral binding on spiral notebooks goes through. Can it be fixed or should I exchange it?
