Question: Is the fan on my laptop supposed to run all the time i have a hp g60?

its not running at all that i can feel, i sprayed it with air and now its doing nothing

Hi jago4523 if it is so hot yes its better to have it opened and cleaned with the nearest laptop checkup to see if its fansincks are dirty or not thank thank you

Yes, fan will continously run to keep the computer cool. if it is making a loud noise it needs to be cleaned.

Idk... probably... they usually run at various speeds.. is is consistantly running at full speed?

It may not i have dell n hp laptops n both will run only when needed
