Economy laptop decent for gaming?
I'm just 16 so i dont have a lot of money, but i'm looking for a decent laptop for around $450 that could play starcraft 2 and WoW. I know nothing for that price will play them perfectly, but what would be the best laptop for that price?As far as nothing coming close to running sc2, i know that's not true, as my current laptop which i bought for 600 around 3 years ago runs it, albeit no so well, and my friend's 300 laptop runs it quite well.Deion, i'm not stupid, that's a terrible deal.

I have the latest 13" macbook pro 2010 and it very rarely leaves my desk. I've been told many things about what leaving it plugged in can do to the battery, however with my old white macbook, I used to charge it up then run it down all the time, and the battery slowly got worse and worse over about 2 years. So... when you plug it in when it's fully charged does it not just take the power straight from the mains, without even touching the battery? no taking power from, or charging, the battery? . Is this bad or fine, because I don't want to ruin this 10 hour battery when I don't actually even use it.So what should I do? All advice is much appreciated, but no wishy washy answers please, thanks D
Can i upgrade my laptop screen to a dual lamp do i have to change the inverter or is it just not gonna work?
i got a hp dv 8000 and the screen went out but my freind gave me a screen the same size and everything is the same but the new screen is a dual lamp were my old one only had one the only thing i see thats diffant is that it has two plugs on it that go to the inverter can i just buy the dual lamp inverter and use the new screen or am i just wasting my money buying the new part i realy like this laptop but not so much that i wanna buy a 300.00 screen for it i would spend the 20.00 for the inverter

Connecting laptop to tv?
im connecting my laptop to my tv with the regular cord for a tower to be connected to a monitor. it worked fine at first but then something popped up and i randomly clicked ok. then everything switched back and it stopped working. what did it do? how do i undo it? my laptop is an acer aspire with windows vista. thanks
Laptop sound......gone. wtf?
I have an HP laptop on the bottom it says " HP Pavillion dv3" . Anyways, the stupid thing has decided to go and mute itself. I used headphones the other day and it worked great, and now all of a sudden I can't turn the sound on at all. It says " the audio service is not running" when I try to click on the little volume dealio. How the eff can I fix it? I tried going to control settings and messing with the audio controls there, but it's still the same.
Does Google Chrome OS Work On Intel Core i3 Based Laptops?
I have a Compaq laptop with intel core i3, 2gb ram, 250 gb hard disk. Can I install Google Chrome OS? How is it in comparison with Windows7 Ultimate? I just need to browse the web for emails and download games, movies, songs etc. I dont do anything else. Is it OK to have Google Chrome OS? I cant afford to buy Windows7. I am preferring Google Chrome OS because its free.
