A window keeps popping up when i click on internet explorer saying 'Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience....It asks me to send error report or don't send. if i click either one my computer just freezes. so i drag it to the bottom task bar and ignore it the internet loads up onto google and works fine. however now my volume is not working and i haven't muted it or changed any controls. is there any easy fix i can do? any answers apprecaited, thanks. ps it also does the same error report when i try to access 'my computer' however it fails to load. i'm using vista. |

Use "my computer " or "my documents " folder in the address bar, type google.ca, or wherever your trying to get to. Then use mozilla firefox. |

It's somehow complicated. The problem may resolve from itself but i don't think so. I say you should unistall IE and ask a friend if he could give you a browser install of a CD (or others). :P EDIT: The best is Mozilla Firefox. (Google Chrome is a micro bit faster) |

I would recommend you use another browser. Firefox Chrome Safari. These are great browsers. download them from download.cnet.com |

Click Start > in the start search type mrt and click OK > this opens the MIcrosoft Malicious Removal Tool this programme will check for virus > - click Next to run and see a report at the end. Test internet connection and sound. Click Start - in the start search type prob and select Problems Reports and Solutions go through the menus on the left and see if there any clues to your problems. |

Download Mozilla Firefox instead, its free. I had so many problems with hung screens on IE it drove me mad having to keep using the task manager to get out of them. Now its like I have a new computer, so fast and no more hung screens or "page not responding ". |
