Only Firefox internet browser works?
Okay so I've had several different internet explores on my laptop in the past. When I first got my laptop Internet Explorer 8 worked fine but then I installed Firefox. Internet Explorer worked fine for awhile but now every time I try to bring it up, it tells me something about how the address can't be found even though I type Google. Firefox works fine, but every other internet browser I download does not. I've tried Opera and Internet Explorer 8 but only Firefox works... Why? How can I fix this?
Problems with internet browsers?
I have just had the internet set up, and when i connect to the internet sometimes it works but the majority of the time it says page can not load.I have downloaded Firefox and Google Chrome, but the problems still happens, but when the page says no connection or can not load, the internet is still connected because my MSN is still connected and it shows the internet is connected.Dont really know what to do ???I have tried to repair the connection but nothing happens I have reset the internet options still nothing I have also tried to repair the connection and it says'Windows could not finish reparing the problem because the following action could not be complete Disabling the wireless network adaptorMake sure your network adapter is properly installed'What is the network adapter?Sometimes the internet works and sometimes it doesnt

Computer programs and internet browser won`t start or open. Help any advice on what to do?
None of my computer programs or internet broswer wont start at all. all the programs thatz suppose 2 start automatically does but wheneva i click on windows media player or internet explorer, the arrow has an hour glass next to it but nothing happens. this occurs when i click on anything else like my documents, and my computer also but the only things that start right away and load is the games. i tried doing a sfc but it told me to insert the service pak 2 cd which i dont have because i have an old fashion compaaq desk pro computer with windows xp as it operating system. anyway i tried doing a system restore but once it starts up it freezes even in safe mode. i really need this computer fixed and before i call a guy 2 come out and fix it i wanna see if i can try so if anybody could help i would really appreciate it. by the way thursday august 5th it was working fine but that day i was in a rush so i turned it off by switching user then turned it off because it takes to long turning off and i was running late for work afta that day it started acting up

When I turned on my computer and i find that my browsers, ALL OF THEM, don't work at all they just say an error message this one is from Safari" Safari can t open the page apple.com startpage . The error is There was a problem communicating with the web proxy server HTTP . CFURLErrorDomain 306 Please choose Help > Report Bugs to Apple, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message. I wonder if its that poxy server thing. but please help me
My laptop won't connect to only the internet browser?
My laptop had a virus a few weeks ago so I left it alone cause I didn't want to deal with it. That might have been bad. I don't know.. Then after about 2 or 3 weeks I turned it back on & it wasn't spazzing out. So I created a restore point like I did the first time my laptop got one. It wouldn't connect to anything so I left it alone again. After about a week again I turned it on & it's connecting to everything BUT Internet Explorer or Firefox. Any help??
How can I make my internet browser read foreign text?
Recently, I had to have my computer reformatted start from scratch and now I can't read foreign characters like Chinese, Korean, and Japanese on my internet browsers google chrome, internet explorer, firefox ... I tried different encodings but to no avail. I can't remember what I did before the reformatting to read the characters. HELP

ok so when i click the " x" to close the internet browser and a dialog box pops up saying " internet explorer has stopped working" so i cancel that and another one pops up saying " internet explorer is restarting" i click cancel on that and get back to my desktop....does anyone know how to make it where i can just click " X" and it closes?thanks it works now

Internet browsers very slow?
All my internet browsers are VERY slow. But games and MSN are all fast. It has been happening for a few days. I have tried it on two different connections, it is the same. took me about 15 minutes to load this asking page. Google Chrome IE8 FirefoxI have a Toshiba Satellite L350 151.2GB ram.250GB hard drive.
