How do i set up remote desktop between 2 windows 7 pcs?
i have tried everything off the internet in the remote settings section it only have remote assistance and not remote desktop and it it the same on both computers why doesn't it come up?
How large is windows vista home premium to windows 7 home premium upgrade?
I want to upgrade from vista to windows 7.But I wanted to download the upgrade instead of using the upgrade cd instead of having to pay shipping.I Have a 256kbps dsl connection.Im currently using windows vista home premium X64.If anyone used this method could you plz tell me how large was the file and what was your connection speed? I installed VGA drivers from a scratched disk some time ago . My lowest subscore then was 3.2 i guess, But later, post a new clean installation . I could not install driver from that disk. So i downloaded them from the internet. My lowest subscore is now 3.0I want to know if a It will affect my performance substantially?b Why?c What must i doThanks in advance
I need help doing a clean install to windows 7 64 bit?
this is a repost since no one who answered my last question understood mei went from 64 bit version of vista to 32 bit version of windows 7 and I cant run a 64bit installation because i can't run 64 bit programs anymore but my processor is a 64 bit intel core 2 duo t6600 is there anyway i can run 64 bit files again?I have a 32 bit operating system now...incapable of running 64 bit files, INCLUDING the 64 bit dvd image of the 64 bit windows 7 installation, i cant find a 32 bit windows 7 file, in which installed the 64 bit versionOMG R U SERIOUS? MY QUESTION IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU HOW CAN I INSTALL A 64 BIT SYSTEM IN THE FIRST PLACE, IF MY 32 BIT SYSTEM WONT RUN THE OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLATION which is a 64 BIT FILE wowwwwwwwwwwwand yes you can run 32 bit programs on a 64 bit operating system but i know you cant do it vice versa
How can I repair windows vista?
in windows XP you could repair your windows by it's CD, I mean you could recopy all files without reinstalling and formatting the disk, but in Vista DVD doesn't exist this properties. is there? how can I repair it? I don't want to format the OS drive nor have fresh version.thanks in advance
Can install and use a CD Drive without being in windows (READ ALL)?
I obtained a computer that was killed by a virus wont boot into windows and i know for a fact that the current CD Drive that's in it is faulty. SO now i cant use my windows cd to install windows other then programming a USB to boot but every guide i read telling me how to i get frustrated and give up. i have a working computer with a working CD Drive and was wondering if i can just take out the good CD Drive from the good comp and plug it in, in place of the bad CD Drive in the bad computer and use it to install widows with my CD without being in windows to Install the CD Drives drivers. i assume its like a graphics card and has pre installed drivers that enable it to function enough till u can get updated drivers.or as another option can i take the Hard Drive out of the bad comp into the good comp removing its drive and use that system to format and install windows on then take it out and put it in the bad computer?

Does windows 7 custom install wipe out documents?
I know choosing a custom clean install on a pc wipes your programs apps but what about your personal folder my documents . I have done a custom install in the past on an xp machine, where the only option was to do the a custom install to windows 7. The one thing i noticed is that the personal folder my documents folders remained intact. Right now im trying to upgrade my laptop which has vista home premium to windows 7. I cant choose to upgrade because it failed twice, and i really dont wanna waste another 10 hours or so trying again with the upgrade option. So back to my question, does choosing a custom install wipe out your documents folder? or do i need to backup my personal folders?
No single spacing available for microsoft word in windows 7?
I tried both the 2010 beta and the word 2007, and yeah, i know how to use single space. It's just that the single space still has a massive gap in between and the double space function obviously has an even larger gap in between.
Windows XP starting up with no task-bar, no desktop items just a wallpaper. Help?
Everytime I start up the computer Its the same thing. Nothing Loads except the wallpaper, before you start telling me what I should try ill tell you the things I have already tried 1. Load up Task Manager Run the task Explorer.exe Every time I do this Task Manager disappears and nothing happens.2. Repair Windows Tried doing this through Boot from CD. Went through the whole process and in the end the same thing kept happening.3. Load up in Safe mode, Still nothing appears.4. Load up in Safe with Command Prompt Worked CMD popped up tried CHKDSK did nothing, tried System restore showed up and told me no restore points available.Possibly tried more things but that's everything from the top of my head. I'll try anything besides Complete format and re installation.Thank you for your help inn advance.

Cannot Update or install Windows Vista Service Pack 2?
hey i need to update my windows vista service pack 1 to sp2 but when i download the file from windows.com i download it but then when it is loading the installation it comes up saying Installation was not successful and it gives me a error code 0x800f0900 .... how do i fix this so i can download windows sp2
