Can xp be installed without a hard disk drive?

Question: Can xp be installed without a hard disk drive?

Is so how? I cannot complete the setup process. I get an error message that says the hard disk drive is not found. Thanks 4 your answers in advance

Well so far installing without a hard drive hasn't been done anywhere. Maybe your hard drive is faulty....... Could be loose cabling.. Better get it checked out.

Well you cant install an OS on the RAM if you find a way, let me know.

Format a flash drive to NTFS and install it there.
