How can I get firefox to stop crashing and not responding? Also..does adding Shockwave help in playing games?
I never had problems with firefox until recently and now all of a sudden it is " not responding" on a lot of websites..slowing down especially on Facebook. Also I have thought about using Shockwave to improve playing the virtual games on Facebook..does that help?
Is the fireftp add-on for firefox any good?

Why don't HTML symbols appear on firefox?
i'm talking about HTML symbols such as the stars or anything that uses html. they just appear with a blank spot that should had been where the symbol appeared. i'm not talking about symbols such as which is alt 4, but for symbols that do not have an alt code.i know its not on every firefox, but i have my character encoding on unicode UTF 8 . is there another setting i do not know of that can alter this?
A firefox addon name?
I am searching for a firefox addon I used to have but I have reinstalled ff and I don't remember it. It replaced the X on each tab with a " 1" ," 2" ," 3" etc, and you could navigate to the tabs using Alt 1 or 2 or 3 etc, according to the tab's " tag" . What is this addon?

It says you have some java script off or you do not have latest adobe flashplayer. but java script is on & I have the latest flash player 10.I can see the videos through IE5.5

Whenever I have a window I want to close, I have to go shrink it by clicking on the window in the toolbar, right click on the window, and close it that way. Sometimes it doesn't even work that way.How can I close something without having to shrink it?

Ohk, my little sister installed a yahoo tool bar to both firefox and explorer, so I uninstalled it but after I did I noticed that every time I opened a new tab it would go to this web site search.yahoo.com ?fr freeze& type W3i NA,132,3 6,Tab %20Search,20100209,6374,0,15,0 But I want it to open up to a blank tab. I tried using add ons to change it but still no luck so help please its driving me bananas haha. I've thought about just redownloading firefox but I'm not sure if I'll lose all my Bookmarks. So any help would be great. Keep in mind that is my tabs not my homepage I know how to change that.
