Looking for personal finance software compatible with Microsoft Vista?
I'm struggling to find any home personal finance software for managing my money. My computer operates on Windows Vista with the service packs and am wondering whether anyone can recommend any other software that I can use.I'm used to Microsoft Money, but as I've bought a new laptop that didn't have it pre installed, I can't find MS Money anywhere in the shops.
I'm looking for personal finance software.?
I'm looking for personal finance software. I downloaded both Quicken and Microsoft Money and am not particularly fond of either. I'm really looking for something like LowerMyBill's BillPay. I'd keep using them, except they are closing up shop for that service soon. Any ideas? Software or web based.
Is there are personal finance software program other than Microsoft Money or Quicken that is decent?
I have Microsoft Money 2002 and it is no longer reliable. The reviews of Microsoft Money 2008 are not encouraging, so I may not be improving my situation. My good friend says to stay away from Quicken, so what else is there out there? All I want to do is make a household budget and keep track of our investments.Thanks.

What is a good free personal finance software?

I am looking for finance software for my new iMac.?
I just switched from a PC to a Mac and am having trouble finding a reputable checkbook program for Mac. The Quicken 07 for Mac is rated terribly and the iBank seems to have that " home made" feel to it, which appears to be missing a bunch of common sense. I don't care for the online downloading of my bank accounts, so I am looking for something simple. If you have had good luck with any programs, I would love to hear about them. Thanks

Can someone recommend personal finance software?
I need to balance budgets, keep track of my portfolio, etc.I would like to know personal experiences with financial software. Any worthy free open source applications too?I have looked at Quicken, Peachtree, Microsoft Money, but I don't understand why they need to release a new version every year ie Quicken 2006 . Do laws change so often? Why do I have to upgrade every year?So do people feel cheated when they have to continually upgrade year after year? Is it worth it?Sorry, to sound like a cheapskate, but, as a consumer, I don't think it's necessary to pay an annual fee for such a app.I've read about GNUcash and it's a cool open source app, but not easy to install. I'm not a newbie computer user i helped built this Answers site , but I don't want to spend extra time configuring a less mature application.
