Disk Recovery Information

Question: Laptop disk recovery help!!!!?

My disk recovery is filled up 99 % and I don't feel that i've done enough downloading and things to make it be so full. does any one have a solution??? the hard drive is 160GB

Umm...boot into safe mode run antivirus...go into control panel and add/ remove programs, remove anything you don't use...how big is the drive? defrag disk clean up clean out temp internet files then see my yourube video on speeding up XP youtube.com/ user/ MEGASPARKs

Double click on Drive C and double click "Program Files " and "Program Data " and delete what you can remember what you uninstalled. Also go to "downloads " folder and do the same. This is what i don't like about computers when you download things because the way i see it they seem to be installed twice

Run system restore and set it back to a date where the hard drive was not very full. Click Start >run Then enter restore in the run box his enter and click on the system restore icon. Then follow on screen insturctions. You can find out about system restore through google. The easiest way to get system restore is to bootup in safe mode (tap f8 when your pc/ laptop boots)
