Does windows vista backup and restore compress photo files, is data lost?

Question: Does windows vista backup and restore compress photo files, is data lost?

I'm concerned that back up and restore will lose details in large photo files by compressing the files.

No i think didn't possible so check other backup software like NovaStor NovaBackup Handy Backup
