I have my computer set up to dual boot into either of two versions of Windows 7. The two versions of Windows 7 are stored on separate partitions. Windows 7 Professional's "Backup and Restore" vs Norton Ghost 14.0?
I previously used Norton Ghost 14.0 with Windows Vista 64 bit but I had issues with installing and using it with my fresh install of Windows 7 also 64 bit . I decided to give Window's built in tools a shot and used the " Backup and Restore" utility.Does anyone who is familiar with both these forms of backup know what I'll be missing out on by not finding a workaround for Norton Ghost 14? Incremental back ups? Cloning Hard Drives?Just adding on that my primary usage of these backup utilities is for trying out lots of different software. I enjoy spending about a week trying multiple programs out and then using a backup program to basically go back in time to a point where all the programs were installed. It made it much easier to not worry about registry garbage and lingering install files. I'm not so concerned with just reinstalling Windows in the event of a crash.
