The free versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware are very good for on-demand scans and removal. Now to deal with this infection: 1. Go to CNET at download.com and download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and update the program's signatures. 2. then shut your PC off 3.hold down key F8 (not F and 8,but F8) and restart your PC 4 after it restarts, choose the option for Safe Mode and hit Enter (on your keyboard) and wait a few moments for it to start 5 once you're in safe mode, open Malwarebytes' and run a full scan.Quarantine what it finds. Then delete them only from quarantine 6.restart your PC normally. For further information in dealing with this infection,go to free-virus-removal-and-scan.blogspot.com/ Go to the Uninstall List and find this program that is telling you you're infected Follow their removal advice. Vista Antivirus Pro 2010 is actually a virus that tries to scam you out of your money. No legitimate program would stop you from using your computer like that. Try doing a full scan with AVG and Malwarebytes to remove it.

Here I found a guide: 1. Click Start- >Run (or WinKey+ R). Input: "command ". Press Enter or click OK. 2. Type "notepad " as shown in the image below and press Enter. Notepad will open. 3. Copy and past the following text into Notepad: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.exe\shell\open\command] [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\secfile\shell\open\command] [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe\shell\open\command] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe] @= "exefile " "Content Type "= "application/ x-msdownload " [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\secfile] 4. Save file as "exefix.reg " (without quotation-marks) to your Desktop. NOTE: choose Save as type: All files 5. Double-click to open exefix.reg. Click "Yes " for Registry Editor prompt window. 6. Download Spyware Doctor and run a full system scan.
