After downloading an ebook, it just popped up and started downloading things onto my desktop. I can still use the internet explorer but I can't open anything without an antivirus program which I don't recognise telling me that I have a virus and blah blah blah. Don't worry, I didn't click " remove virus" , that would be the same as giving it permission to tamper with my computer even more.I've unplugged it from the internet and stuff, but what now? I'm using my old computer, which has security software the other one didn't, it was new . What to do? Is it possible to, I don't know, transfer an antimalware virus installation program like Malwarebytes from this computer on a flash drive onto the infected one, install it, and get rid of the virus? Haven't tried it yet because I'm kind of scared of touching the infected computer again....Help, this isn't the first time it happened, last time I got a friend to reset everything but now he's gone overseas on vacation.

HELP! How do I get rid of a so called 'antivirus 2010'?
So even though I have a pop up block thing, a window came up and said it was installing something and now on my wallpaper it says 'YOUR SYSTEM IS INFECTED' with a 15 min countdown that when it get to 0 restarts my computer and does it again. I have macafee and it says my systems secure and I have ran some scans and it said it was fine I cant get rid of it HELPPPP
